Recession Special 10% off
Due to the continued economic recession I have offered an additional 10% discount off the cost of hair transplants. In 2009 in response to the onset of the current recession the fees were lowered from $7 per graft to $6 per graft. This is the lowest fee ever since begging practice i 1974. Whether it is your hairline recession or the economic recession special that brings you in, there is a free consultation to find out what all of you options are.
Medical Treatments
Non-surgical medical treatments ranging from non prescription lotions such as Procrinix, to the most effective Low Level Laser Light therapy in the form of the LaserCap are available to be used alone or to augment the surgical treatments. The use of medicines to prevent formation of DHT or to block its receptor sites is part of the role of a physician involved in hair restoration. As a pioneer in the use of minoxidil lotions to stimulate hair beginning ten years before Rogaine came to market, I have kept abreast of the latest developments in research around the world to provide custom made lotions for my patients. Some of these are prescription only and require an office visit but there are some newer non prescription treatments also available.
Dr. Panagotacos' motto
"I believe everyone, men and women, should know something can be done about hair loss." And to that end I have tried to educate my patients and the public in general as to what the various medical and surgical options are. As an invited lecturer to many international conferences my goal has been to bring to them the newest and best treatments. My website in 1993 was the seventh site listed on the world wide web dealing with hair and hair loss. Today there are millions of sites and it leads to even more confusion as to what is real and what is not. I wrote my book "Hair Loss Answers by the Hair Doc" in 2002 in order to inform patients about the myriad of bogus treatments that have been used throughout the history of man and to point out the very good options we have had in the past half century. I am happy to offer a free consultation to explain to patients what the best options are for them.
